Hand Embroidery Saree

one of my hand embroideried saree..here i have used stem stitch for stems,herringbone for leaves and alternate fly and straight stitch to make flowers..you can follow the stitch from the close up picture of single flower..i have done designs on pallu as well as body wherever i need..11 bunches have been made..some small butties have also been added here and there..this is polycotton saree and the thread used is silk thread..

Leela I could not help but chuckle when I read about your sari, here in the north of England butties are sandwiches! wonder what other words we will come across with different meanings. Your sari is beautiful
