🥛Milk Jam

effortless Milk Jam from condensed milk

i was drooling over the milk jam seeing the pic in Priyas Blog and cant wait to try it..yesterday bought a fresh condensed milk can and by night i put it in my pressure cooker filled with enough water to cover the can by a few inches above..allowed it to boil at simmer level for 1 1/2 hours..then switched off the gas and once the can get cooled,i transfered it from the p.cooker and kept it to be cooled over night..this morning when i opened the can, to my surprise, the jam turned out as deep orange color and yummy as well..next time i will keep it for 1 hour so that will get the more pleasant color like priyas jam...
i think, this is a great option when we don't have enough time to stand at the stove stirring for hours...its a must try easy recipe for those who like sweets..thank you priya for sharing the recipe..

sounds different & interesting.

I too use to keep the boiled milk in pressure cooker for pradhamans & payasams to save the labour & standing for long hours stirring.
